Frequently Asked Questions

As their parent, you know your baby best. If they love bath time, enjoy being in the water and are happy in a new environment, they can still have a wonderful Baby Spa experience even if they're already crawling or walking.
I have had babies from 8 weeks old up to 16 months old.
I would generally recommend around 18 months as the upper age guide, as Baby Spa is designed with younger babies in mind.
For our older little ones, we also make the experience extra playful, with the opportunity to enjoy some fruit during bath time.
Our younger babies may need a little more one-to-one attention from you, while our more mobile babies can enjoy exploring and playing in their own way.
So if you're wondering "Is my baby too old?" don't worry about comparing them to anyone else.
You know your baby. If they love the water and you think they'll enjoy it, we'd love to welcome you.

I use three main baby-friendly products during the experience: Childs Farm, Nala's Baby and Lidl's own baby range. These have all worked really well for our Baby Spa experience.
However, you know your baby best. If your little one has a favourite product from home, you're more than welcome to bring it along and we can use that instead.
If your baby has allergies, sensitive skin or you simply prefer to use your own products, we'd recommend bringing what you know works for them.
And if you'd prefer not to use any products in the water at all, that's absolutely fine too.
Baby Spa is about making your baby feel comfortable and happy, so we'll always work around what is best for you and your little one.

Honestly? Just bring you, your baby and your everyday changing bag.
We've got the rest covered!
Towels
Refreshments
Cosy dressing gowns
Simple toys
Bathing essentials
Everything you need to enjoy the experience is provided.
That said, we know every baby has their must-haves, so we'd recommend bringing anything that helps your little one feel settled and comfortable.
You might want to pack:
A swim nappy, if you'd like your baby to wear one
A spare change of clothes
Milk
A dummy
Their favourite comforter
Anything else that helps your baby feel at home
There is no such thing as "bringing too much" when it comes to your baby!
If it makes you and your little one feel more comfortable, bring it along.
